A Queensbury man is accused of driving while intoxicated. WNYT reports Deputies stopped a vehicle on Fox Hollow Lane in the town of Queensbury around 12:04 a.m. The driver, 40-year-old Christopher A. Dore, was charged with DWI, which was upgraded to a felony because he has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years.

Saratoga Springs Finance Commissioner Minita Sanghvi will not seek a third term on the City Council this fall, while John Safford will try for a second term as mayor. The village of Whitehall has requested the help of engineering firms to address the emergency and long-term concerns of the water issues in the village.
