A Lake George resident was recently given a Kindling Award by the Adirondack Community Foundation.
Adirondack Community Foundation recently announced that Darcy Leigh of Lake George was one of the thirty winners of the Kindling Award. According to the foundation, the award celebrates people who keep the spirit of community alive. Jennifer Russell, a Vice President with ACF, said they received more than 100 nominations. Each of the 30 award winners selected a local organization to receive a $1,000 grant in their honor.
