The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association is in the midst of conversations with the city Department of Public Works about potentially having free parking days as the city gears up for another summer of seasonal paid parking in city-owned parking garages and surface lots. The Daily Gazette reports the city is set to begin its first full season of paid parking on Memorial Day.

    The Glens Falls YMCA is receiving additional funding for its $6 million Capital Improvement project. Hudson River Community Credit Union has donated $100,000 to go toward upgrading the facility and expand programming. WTEN reports the YMCA is still raising funds to cover the cost of the project, and they’re asking for community donations.
