This unique, innovative, 5 day learn to ride bike program for children with disabilities, will be offered at the Tupper Lake Civic Center from July 6th - 10th. Rider requirements: must be 8 years old by July 6, 2026, (ages 7 1/2 + will be considered if slots don't fill up), able to side step to both sides, have a disability, able to attend camp all 5 days and have a bike, able to walk unassisted, maximum weight of 220 pounds, willing and able to wear a properly fitted helmet and have a minimum inseam of 20 inches. Riders will be assigned to a 75 minute session, same time each day. We are also in need of many volunteers. Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age before July 6, 2026, attend a volunteer orientation on July 5th at 10:00 a.m. , commit to at least one 75 minute session each day of camp, be physically fit and able to run. No experience working with youth with disabilities is necessary. We will train.
