As of now, opening day remains on schedule.

  • Heat Wave Drives Up Power Demand Across New York

    With extreme heat continuing today, the New York Independent System Operator expects electricity demand to reach more than 32,000 megawatts, the highest level of the current heat wave. Residents are encouraged to conserve power by raising thermostat settings and delaying use of major appliances until demand eases later in the day.

  • Tri-County Drug Sweep Nets 83 Arrests

    A major drug enforcement operation across Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties has resulted in 83 arrests and the seizure of large amounts of illegal drugs, including counterfeit Xanax pills, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Authorities say eight firearms also were confiscated.
