A South Glens Falls man is facing serious charges after prosecutors say he attacked his 77 year old mother. A grand jury indicted 40 year old Aaron Gookin on attempted murder and multiple assault charges tied to a February incident. Authorities say the attack happened after a dispute over money being sent to an online scammer. The victim suffered serious injuries, and the case is moving forward in Saratoga County Court.
