Washington County Man Accused of Removing GPS Monitor

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says 51 year old Walter Winchell is facing charges after investigators accused him of removing a court-ordered GPS monitor. Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy says Winchell was charged with tampering with physical evidence, obstruction of governmental administration and criminal mischief.
