Several people were stuck in a gondola at a popular ski area in the region due to mechanical issues.
67 people were stuck in 15 gondola cabins at Gore Mountain Wednesday morning when the Northwoods Gondola was stopped due to a mechanical issue according to an update on the Gore Mountain website. Officials at the ski mountain reported their trained mountain operations and ski patrol teams carried out an evacuation and guests were safely returned to the ground. They say, no injuries were reported.
