  A Ballston Spa couple has filed a federal lawsuit against the village, its police department and Officer Edward Ackley over a 2024 incident that allegedly left 61 year old William Huyben with a broken leg and shattered kneecap. The lawsuit claims excessive force was used during a response to a domestic disturbance call.

  Business leaders from across the Adirondacks are expected to gather June 4th for a Triple Chamber Mixer at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing. The networking event is being hosted by the Adirondack Regional, Lake George and Bolton Landing chambers of commerce.
