A 36 year old Bedford woman is facing a juror tampering charge following an investigation by New York State Police. Authorities say Crystina Dean allegedly arranged for a third party outside New York to contact a potential juror through social media and encourage false statements during jury selection in an upcoming trial. The potential juror reported the contact to court officials. Dean was arraigned in Queensbury Town Court and returned to Bedford Correctional Facility. Police say the investigation began in February after concerns were raised by the Warren County District Attorney’s Office.
