A Black Hawk helicopter landed at Queensbury’s school transportation department Friday for the district’s second annual Career and Technical Education Day. Students explored jobs in plumbing, sewing, flooring and roofing. Superintendent Kyle Gannon said the helicopter gave them a chance to learn about military careers, too. The event was designed to expose students to different ways to make a living and help them find work that interests them.
