Former Lake George resident 58 year old Michael Conner has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for defrauding investors of more than $6 million. Prosecutors say Conner claimed their money would support business deals involving his household inventions, but instead spent it on fine dining, vintage wines and escort services. He was convicted of 22 wire fraud counts and two tax fraud counts. Conner must also pay more than $1.2 million in restitution.
