• Mother Not Ruled Out in Deaths of Four Children

  Mechanicville police say Sarah Myers has not been ruled out in the deaths of her four children. Myers, the children and their grandmother were found dead June 23. Investigators believe poisoning was involved and are awaiting toxicology results before releasing more information.

• Saratoga Race Course Barn Fire Deemed Suspicious

  A small hay fire at Saratoga Race Course is under investigation. Firefighters were called to Barn 72 Tuesday night, but a racing association fire marshal had already put out the flames. No horses were injured, and the barn was not damaged. Authorities say the fire appeared suspicious.

• Warrensburg Student Wins County Voting Sticker Contest

  Warrensburg High School senior Charlotte Measeck has won Warren County’s “I Voted” sticker contest. Her design features an Eastern bluebird celebrating after voting on a lilac bush. The sticker will be distributed to voters during the Nov. 3 general election.

• Corinth Home Condemned After Children, Animals Found in Poor Conditions

  41 year old Kenneth Wadsworth and 37 year old Debbie Guilder of Corinth face animal cruelty and child endangerment charges. Deputies say three children and seven animals were living in unsanitary conditions. The animals were removed, and the Liberty Street home was condemned.

• Corinth Parents Face August Parole Interviews

  Matthew and Samantha Dylewski, convicted in the death of their 3 year old daughter, are scheduled for parole interviews next month. Both pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and received prison terms of one-and-a-third to four years. Their earliest release dates are in December.
