• Saratoga Springs Woman Charged in Schuylerville Burglary

  42 year old Amy Bradway of Saratoga Springs is facing burglary, petit larceny and obstruction charges. Saratoga County investigators say she stole clothing, cigarettes and a lighter from a home, then refused to provide basic information during booking. She was sent to the county jail.

  Drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew has opened a new location on Glen Street in Queensbury. The company marked the opening with a donation weekend, raising 26-thousand-660 dollars for Double H Ranch, which serves children and families dealing with serious and chronic illnesses.

• Glens Falls Woman Charged in Wilton Endangerment Case

  30 year old McKayla Irish of Glens Falls is charged with felony endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person. Deputies say she failed to perform required temperature checks on a man in her care in Wilton. The man later died from related medical complications.

• Saratoga Springs District Names New Elementary Principal

  The Saratoga Springs City School District has named Olivia Grant the new principal of Division Street Elementary School. Grant begins August 17th. She currently teaches first grade and previously served as an assistant principal and STEM program coordinator.

• Moose Spotted Trotting Through Queensbury

  A moose was caught on video Tuesday morning trotting along Queensbury Avenue near Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport. Matt Petteys recorded the animal around 6:35 a.m. State wildlife officials say moose are most active from dusk to dawn and can weigh as much as 1,200 pounds.
