Two Upstate New York men face federal charges after authorities say more than seven ounces of cocaine were seized from three Burlington apartments. 42 year old Donald Stewart of Schenectady and 49 year old Lisandro Brown of Rotterdam are accused of crack cocaine distribution. Investigators also reported finding a loaded rifle and more than 27-thousand dollars in cash.

  • Queensbury Firefighter Hurt in Ladder Truck Malfunction

    A Queensbury firefighter suffered non-life-threatening injuries after falling about 25 feet when an aerial bucket detached from a ladder truck. Brian Novohradsky was taken to Albany Medical Center. Two other firefighters were left hanging upside down for about 45 minutes and were evaluated at Glens Falls Hospital.

  • Hudson Falls Man Faces Child Exploitation Charge

    51 year old Kenneth L. Bates of Hudson Falls faces a felony charge of possessing a sexual performance by a child. State Police say a cybertip led to the investigation. Bates was arrested July 23, processed in Queensbury and released with an appearance ticket for Kingsbury Town Court.
