• Logging Accident Leaves One Severely Injured in Fort Ann

  One person was severely injured Monday morning in a logging accident on Hogtown Road in Fort Ann. State Police say the victim was thrown from a piece of logging equipment and airlifted to Albany Medical Center in stable condition. Investigators believe the incident was accidental.

• First Responders Train for Rail Bike Emergency

  Northern Warren County fire and EMS crews recently held a mass-casualty drill at Revolution Rail in Riparius. The exercise simulated several injured rail bike passengers and tested rescue routes, equipment and victim extraction procedures along the Hudson River tracks.
