Five Face Narcotics Charges After Corinth Search

Five people face drug charges after a search warrant was executed at a home on Route 9N in Corinth. 39 year old Erica Shippee and 37 year old Thomas Allen face felony possession charges. Trevor Thompson, Todd Joubert and Andre Ovitt also face charges. Shippee and Ovitt were sent to the Saratoga County Jail.

    A Saratoga County Jail inmate faces a felony assault charge after allegedly attacking another inmate last month. Deputies say 22 year old Shayne Vaccaro of Halfmoon struck the victim’s head against a toilet on July 19. The victim was hospitalized with face and head injuries. Vaccaro remains in the county jail.

  • Slate Ridge Owner Faces Foreclosure, Plans Lawsuit

    The owner of the former Slate Ridge firearms training property in West Pawlet, Vermont faces foreclosure over nearly half a million dollars in fines. Daniel Banyai says he expects to lose the 30-acre property but plans to sue the town and the constable who arrested him. A foreclosure sale date has not been announced.

  • Corinth Man Faces Felony Drug Charges After I-87 Stop

    A traffic stop on Interstate 87 led to felony drug charges against a Corinth man. Saratoga County deputies say 40 year old Adam Randall was stopped for an unsafe lane change and allegedly had more than half an ounce of narcotics, along with drugs intended for sale. Randall was released on his own recognizance.
