• Glens Falls Woman Charged in Wilton Care Case

  30 year old McKayla Irish of Glens Falls faces a felony charge after authorities say she failed to properly monitor a physically disabled person in her care in Wilton. Investigators say required temperature checks were not done. The person later developed a high fever and died several weeks after being hospitalized.

• Mechanicville Woman Charged With Arson After Garage Fire

  A 46 year old Mechanicville woman is facing several charges after a garage fire on South Main Street. Police say Alisha Cooper intentionally set the fire and also tried to burn a truck during a separate incident. No injuries were reported, and investigators say the case may involve an ongoing family dispute.
