• Kingsbury Murder Trial Underway

  The Washington County murder trial of Ronald Guilder Junior is underway. Guilder is accused of killing his girlfriend, Jessica Keenan, at their Kingsbury apartment in April. Prosecutors say he strangled her with a phone-charging cord. Guilder is also charged with strangulation and evidence tampering. The trial could continue into next week.

• Motorcyclist Killed in Lake George Crash

  A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck at Diamond Point Road and Truesdale Hill in Lake George. State police say the rider was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene. The pickup driver remained and cooperated with investigators. The victim’s name has not been released.

• Wilton Man Charged in Property Damage Case

  A 46 year old Wilton man is accused of causing more than $1,500 in damage to another person’s property. Deputies say Jonathan Ching shattered a mirror, glass door and television, and damaged furniture and appliances. He was charged with felony criminal mischief and released to pretrial services.

• Missing SUNY Adirondack Student Found Dead

  An 18 year old SUNY Adirondack student reported missing Monday has been found dead in the Hudson River. Authorities say Dominick Carrey’s phone was discovered near Hudson River Park. Divers recovered his body Wednesday afternoon near the Interstate 87 overpass. The investigation is continuing.
