Red Cross Seeks Blood and Platelet Donors

The American Red Cross is urging people to donate blood or platelets as the nation’s supply remains vulnerable heading into September. Back-to-school activities and possible tropical weather could reduce donations or disrupt blood drives. Anyone donating between September 1 and 20 will receive a Hello Kitty plush mascot clip and sticker pack while supplies last. Appointments are available at Red Cross Blood dot org, through the Blood Donor App or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
