Saratoga Springs leaders remain divided over how to address homelessness as the city’s year-round shelter faces an October 31 funding deadline. At a public forum, shelter advocates called for continued services, while local officials say the city cannot afford to keep funding the shelter. The City Council withdrew its support last fall. Panelists also discussed policing, affordable housing and transportation. No solution emerged.
