  Vermont State Police arrested 34 year old Heidi Baron of Wells following a family dispute on Saw Mill Hill Road. Police say Baron injured a family member, fled on foot and resisted arrest.

  Two Saratoga County residents face 17 misdemeanor animal neglect charges each. Deputies say 31 year old Shannon Long and 47 year old Michael Bovee failed to properly care for dogs, cats, a hedgehog and other animals at a Corinth home that was later condemned.

  A new Adirondack lifestyle store opens Friday in Bolton Landing. Basecamp will sell apparel, gifts, art and local goods at 4950 Lake Shore Drive. The store also plans an art auction benefiting local nonprofits and conservation groups.

• Man Sentenced in Saratoga County Drug Case

  A Saratoga County judge has sentenced 49 year old Kenny Seales to eight years in prison and five years of probation. Seales admitted possessing about eight ounces of cocaine and nearly half an ounce of fentanyl during a Northway traffic stop in Malta.

• Wilton Woman Accused of False Active Shooter Report

  A Wilton woman is accused of falsely reporting an active shooter at Wilton Mall to divert officers investigating a burglary. Deputies arrested 28 year old Ariana Wainwright Wednesday. She remains in the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
