  A 19 year old Fort Ann man faces charges in two property theft cases. Deputies say Issac Duguay stole more than three thousand dollars in property and hid it in Vermont. He is also accused of taking other property to a salvage yard. Duguay was released pending court.

The hospital uses a framework focused on patients’ priorities, medications, mental health and mobility. Officials say the program is being used in emergency, intensive care and medical-surgical units.

• Hudson Falls Incinerator to Close by End of Year

  The WIN Waste incinerator in Hudson Falls will close by the end of 2026 after 35 years of operation. The plant has faced years of complaints over odors, noise and air pollution. Its closure follows passage of a local clean air law requiring upgraded pollution controls and continuous emissions monitoring.

• State Police Search for Missing Hadley Man

  New York State Police are searching for 23 year old Rocky B. Matteson III of Hadley, who may be in crisis. Police say he may be driving a white pickup with a white cap and New York plate MGA-9975. Anyone with information should call State Police in Wilton.
