  More than 70 hot air balloons will fill the skies over Queensbury and Lake George during the 53rd Adirondack Balloon Festival. The free four-day event runs September 17 through 20, with mass balloon launches, live music, vendors and family activities. All launches depend on weather conditions.

  A Warren County man faces felony charges after authorities say he failed to report income while collecting public assistance. Jeremy A. Green allegedly received more than $1,000 in benefits he was not entitled to. Green was released with an appearance ticket and is due in Queensbury Town Court.
