  A new federal pilot program could speed construction of Regeneron’s planned two billion dollar pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Saratoga Springs. The FDA selected the project to receive early guidance aimed at reducing approval delays. The facility is expected to create about one thousand permanent jobs and 500 construction jobs.

• Johnsburg Woman Killed in Route 8 Crash

  A 64 year old Joann Sutliff of Johnsburg was killed late Saturday night after being struck by a truck while entering State Route 8. Warren County Sheriff’s officials say the 49 year old driver from Mooers Forks showed no signs of impairment, and no charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation.
